About

A site dedicated to Fat and Snow Bikes in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

When I first ventured into snow bike riding it took me weeks to find and gather information on snow bikes, cold weather gear, events, etc. So my friends asked me to create a site that would help bring all these searches to one location, so here it is. If you would like to contribute, please leave me a comment below. Thanks!

  1. Hello,
I am with Women’s Adventure magazine and we are running a story on fat tire snow biking in our Winter issue. I am in search of photos of women riding fat tire bikes to accompany the article. Could you help me on this or put me in touch with someone who could help? My deadline to get images is end of this month (September).
    Thanks!

    Hi there,
I discovered this site a few months ago and really enjoy your content! We are a manufacturer of screw-in fat bike tire studs. http://www.gripstuds.com/Bicycle.php In preparing for the upcoming winter season, we’re looking for new ways to get the word out to fat bikers. Let me know if you’d be interested in helping us out!
    Thanks!

Any interest in getting the scoop on a new FAT Bike that my company is helping to promote? I think it’d be a great match for your audience, for obvious reasons.

I should mention that it’s a production model made in the USA.

    Thanks,

Hi – I am interested in getting a fatbike, and would like to know what kind of car racks it works best with. I presently have a Kuat NV hitch rack – just like the one which appears to be holding a white Surly Pugsly in the photo on the home page. I can’t see how a Pugsley could fit, so could you be so kind as to tell me (either privately via email or publicly on this blog) how you made it fit? That would be very useful information! Thanks in advance, and I much appreciate the interesting blog!

Do you have a group that rides fat bikes in the NE Ohio area? I moved to near Akron from Chicago and I ride my pugsley year round. Always looking for fat group ride :)
