BAR MITTS - (Bicycle Handlebar Mittens / Pogies)

A few weeks ago I bought these for my new Carver Ti Snow Bike, and I’m glad I did. These Bar Mitts were easy to install and fit very well. The material seems quit sturdy and it holds it’s shape very nicely. They are warm and offer great protection from the wind, and on most outtings I only needed to wear a pair of long fingered MTB gloves down to about 20 degrees (f). I highly recommend that you purchase yourself a pair.

Below is the description from the website:

  1. Cold weather bicycle accessory to help keep hands warm and comfortable in the cold, rain, snow or wind.
  2. Designed for road bicycles with drop style handle bars and mountain / commuter.
  3. Easily installed and removed for temperature changes.
  4. Can be used with regular cycling gloves of varying thickness.

Kent Eriksen’s – Seatpost

aka: “The Sweetpost”… and what a sweetpost it is. While researching for the perfect new seatpost, I was found this one at Eriksen Cycle. The fit, finish, and low weight brought me right onboard. The no hassle adjustment system is easy to use and offers very fine increments for just the right angle. I also like the color options on the caps, so if you want to replace it, or just want a different look, they make it easy. Below is a description from there website.

“Around the shop, we call it “The Sweetpost”. Kent has designed a simple, elegant and strong seatpost using the superior strength of titanium, all while keeping it light (sub 175 g at 250 mm). Simple hardware, clean lines and your choice of colors makes this post an easy addition to any frame. The best part about it is the side access hardware, blood never goes to your head trying to change or adjust a saddle.”
